Description

For a general default statistical overview of several XML files, usePaths option should be false by default.

Otherwise:
  • the raw table split by paths is very big and difficult to interpret
  • general per element statistics are missing

Solution

Solution1: usePaths default value must be set to false.

Solution2: separate paths result column in two columns - one for the path without the leaft element, one for the leaf element. This would easily provide general statistics per element AND statistics per path per element.

Validation test

  • install TXM 0.7.7
  • call the XMLStatistics macro. No need to start the macro.
