Diagnostic¶

On some Windows, with some antivirus, a virus is detected in the .exe:

• Windows 8.1 Professional, Microsoft antivirus, TXM_0.8.0_Win64_installer.exe: Program:Win32/Vigram.A detected, .exe deleted by antivirus
• Windows 8.1 Professional, Avast antivirus, TXM_0.8.0_Win64_installer.exe: no virus detected
• SJ (TXM_0.7.9_Win64_installer.exe, Windows 7 pro and Windows 10 pro) : no virus detected with Windows Defender, Kasperky, Spybot, Malwarebytes with last definitions for all tools

The 32-bit setup never triggers a virus detection.

Solution 1¶

Possible workaround.

• download setup
• run antivirus
• copy on USB stick
• install from USB stick

MD note: this solution might not work as well (observed one time on Windows 10 with Windows Defender)

Solution 2¶

• update antivirus definition
• check if browser or system is not infected
