The import parameters input form is not the only place where a corpus name can be set:
  • the import.xml file can be produced or edited externaly
  • a binary corpus may be produced externally with a name without this constraint
  • the CWB import module may use a name without this constraint?
  • more?

Thus, consistency checks on corpus name length must be done at specific points but not limited to the corpus name input field in the input form.
