solution 1¶
- plug and use the directComputing preference of ChartsEngine (not plugged at this time)
- look for methods that need to be synchronized
- disable all widgets until a result has not finished to compute (actually it may be done in all Editors independently to this issue?)

The synchronization seems to lead to a deadlock so need to find another solution.
