Description

The cwb-encode process failed to compile the BFM indexes in the XML-BFM import.

The error shown is : Too many files opened
This can occurs when a corpus has many structures and struture properties.

Diagnose : print all file opening and closing of the cwb-encode process

Solution

Change the maximum open file number

Validation test

  • Download BFM sources or an XML-TEI based corpus with lots and deep structures and attributes
  • Import with the "XML-XTZ+CSV" import module
  • The import must end.
