Description
Installing TXM 0.7.8 fails with the Ubuntu software manager and the installation process is frozen until the process is killed.
Hypothesis¶
The installer should open the debconf Windows (3) to ask some validations from the user. The debconf calls might be the cause of the freeze.
Solution¶
1- Remove the debconf calls in the Ubuntu setup.
2- Add a Terms of service acceptance popup to the TXM startup process. See https://groupes.renater.fr/wiki/txm-info/public/specs_setups#section078
