A) Currently, there are two edition commands entries in the toolbar and menus:

• Edition
• Synoptic Editor

Is it possible to remove the Edition command and rename Synoptic Editor to Edition?

• in the main toolbar
• in the menus
• in the contextual menu of commands like Concordance (hyperlinks)

Is it possible to include the edition navigation toolbar enhancements in the synoptic edition editor (renamed edition editor)?

B) Current tooltips for these commands are:

• Edition -> Afficher l'édition du corpus
• Synoptic Editor -> Read one or more editions

These are problematic because:

• Edition: there are text editions, no corpus editions. At least corpus text editions
• Synoptic Editor: from the point of view of a standard TXM user, multiple editions refer to multiple texts

Suggestion for new tooltip:

• Edition=Synoptic Editor -> 'Afficher le premier texte du corpus' ou 'Lire les textes du corpus' ou 'Afficher le texte du corpus' ou 'Lire le texte du corpus' (fonctionne mieux pour les corpus ayant un seul texte)

Validation¶

• Using the GRRAL corpus with multiple edition
• The new edition button should be available :
• Open the edition and the "Editions..."
• the button should be available, use it to select the "courante" and "ms-colonne" editions
