Task #3481
Mis à jour par Matthieu Decorde il y a presque 2 ans
The update dialog is not shown when fetching updates
h3. Solution 0
Workaround (worked once for me...):
* Open TXM welcome page and accept the certificate
* Search for updates
Another workaround: use the install third party extension and select the main/0.8.3/beta repository
h3. Solution 1
Run TXM with GDK_BACKEND=x11
Before the TXM 0.8.3 update : **Edit the /usr/bin/TXM-0.8.3 file and replace the last line parameters "ENABLE_GTK3= ... UBUNTU_PROXY=0" with "GDK_BACKEND=x11"**
After the TXM 0.8.3 update : nothing to do the /usr/bin/TXM-0.8.3 file is fixed in the setup
h3. solution 2
Use a more recent version of Eclipse ? The solution 1 comes from a discussion ~2022: https://github.com/eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform.swt/issues/158
-
h3. Solution ?
TXM seems stuck at contacting the update site, or is it a problem of window opening ?- ?
